About Ethiopian Cuisine...

We offer the best in

Authentic Ethiopian Cuisine

with an awesome

bar selection to top off your meal.

Our menu is just a rich as our Ethiopian History and Culture.  The main components of Ethiopian cooking are Injera traditionally made from Teff flour, berbere' (a spick red pepper paste), and niter kibbeh (a spice-infused clarified butter). Most of Ethiopian food possesses a stew consistency.

In many recipes the food can be a bit spicy (but we cook determine our spices according to our customers request, when possible).

The spices not only assist in flavoring the food but to preserve the meat as well for countries where refrigeration is rare.

In Ethiopia before partaking in your meal there is ritual of washing hands, this is because the meal is served from a large communal platter that has Injera bread in a crepe like style draped over it.

All guest will eat from this communal platter utilizing the torn bread to scoop the various stews and consume,

a final hand washing completes the meal.
